Overview

Fatemiye is an Islamic education platform where students buy online courses and browse books. Adnaan Raja wanted everything on his own website: student registration, payments, and access to purchased courses, without sending students to a separate third-party course platform. I built the site, and I have worked with Adnaan for five years.

The Challenge

The site needed to sell courses and give each student access only to the courses they paid for. It also needed a clean way to show the client’s books next to the courses. Adnaan handled the visual design and supplied the course materials, book PDFs, covers, and descriptions, so my job was the functionality behind it.

What I Did

I built the site in WordPress with Elementor, following the client’s design. A membership plugin handles registration and course access. Students get lifetime access to each course they buy, and nothing else is unlocked automatically. Payments run through Stripe directly on the site, so students never leave for another platform. For the books, I used Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to give every listing the same structure: cover, description, and PDF.

I delivered the first version in 14 days. Since then I handle the day-to-day work: uploading new courses, WordPress updates, fixing student login problems, sorting out payment issues, and adding new books with their PDFs, covers, and descriptions.

Result

Fatemiye now runs as a complete platform on its own website. Students can register, pay, and open the courses they bought, and the books sit alongside the courses. Two courses are live at the time of writing, and new material gets added as the client sends it.

Adnaan was very happy with the work. He has referred me to other people, and he left a verified Clutch review rating the work 5.0 out of 5 on 10 February 2026.
